Turning home decor searches into real-time home improvements

 

To bring interest to the decor on The Home Depot’s website, and show how it helps bring your home to life, we brought the search process and entire rooms to life, stylishly.

The Home Depot asked us to raise consumer awareness for their home decor products. They wanted to highlight how The Home Depot can be alongside customers throughout their ‘Do-er’ journey including the finishing touches.

 

Our approach.

When you want to find home decor online, where do you go? The search bar.

So that’s where we went too.

We leveraged the search bar prominently in our creative to highlight the decor options available on The Home Depot’s website. When a customer searched for a leather couch, one magically flipped into the scene. When they looked for custom bathroom lighting, pendant lights dropped from the ceiling.

Through practical and digital effects we were able to bring high production value to retail social content. Each room’s story became a different piece of content, and then all came together in a series of premium platform integrations on Facebook and Pinterest. And beyond the individual room videos, we were able to capture dozens of high quality stills to turn into hundreds of pieces of content.
