Our approach.

To demonstrate the resistance of The Home Depot’s Lifeproof products, we decided to take an artistic approach to mess making.

First, we hired an artist to make a canvas out of our carpet and use jars of barbecue sauce, wine, syrup, soy sauce and every other condiment we could find as his medium. Over the course of an afternoon, our painter transformed our snow white carpet into a beautiful, hand-crafted Persian rug. And we captured the entire experience from multiple angles and with time-lapse video. Then, as quickly as it was created, we erased then entire mess with a wet vac. The result - a carpet just as clean as the moment it was unrolled.

Then we decided to turn our attention away from carpets to focus on hardwoods. To show how Pergo flooring can stand up to water spills, we created a table sculpted completely out of ice and filmed it slowly melting over the course of hours. Then we mopped up puddles in minutes to reveal shiny, unwarped floors.
