Columbia Care is one of the largest cannabis companies in the U.S. But as cannabis became more widely available and competitors entered the market, we needed to defend their leadership position, retain customers, and attract the cannabis-curious.

Our challenge.
Our strategic imperative was to establish their brand Cannabist as a unique and elevated experience instead of just a place to get weed. We needed to unearth stigmas to help more people approach it with an open mind. We also helped them name and position their product lines within the port- folio, laddering up to “A Higher Experience”.
Our approach.
Imagine building a brand from the ground up—literally. We didn’t just name it; we gave it a voice, a vibe, and a reason to exist. From crafting the product lines and brand positioning to shaping its entire visual identity, we made sure every detail hit just right.
We even helped design the in-store experience to deliver on the promise of being the ultimate “sommelier of weed.” Oh, and because innovation is kind of our thing, we helped break the industry's cash-only mold by launching the first-ever credit program for cannabis.
