Agency Overview

Hi There!

It was great talking with you; thank you for taking the time to meet with us. Below please find some additional information about our capabilities and work samples as mentioned during our call. We look forward to continuing the conversation!

Twitch Experience

Our team of strategists and creatives includes several Twitch enthusiasts, notably our Executive Creative Director, Shea Johnson, whom you met on our call. Shea joined Trade School a few months ago, bringing extensive experience with Twitch, including creator partnerships, IP development, and streamer collaborations. Shea has worked with Twitch from a gameplay angle and a brand outreach perspective, crafting content that resonates with Twitch audiences. With an engagement-first approach, Shea drives content strategies to spark chatter and ensure shareability across Twitch chats.

Shea has collaborated directly with Twitch to create interactive experiences, such as Choose Your Own Adventure filters and immersive AR plugins. Whether securing front-page IP placements or partnering with top talent, Shea tailors concepts to align with each platform, ensuring maximum audience reach. Beyond Twitch, Shea has also led streaming activations on Kick and YouTube with artists like 6lack, Kehlani, and Pusha T, bridging gaming, sports, and music. Shea has also integrated twitch activations into larger than life campaigns for Coca-Cola across their innovation sector.

Below are links to a few examples of Shea’s work in the space:

  • Bella Levels Up: Shea led a team to concept and execute this live variety show on Twitch where TikTok star Bella Poarch pushes herself to Level Up by learning new skills. The show garnered over 4M live views

  • WWFEST: An experiential music and art festival inspired by the in-game world of VALORANT that blended physical and digital worlds over a 6-hour live stream.

  • Two Joysticks and Couch: a Twitch show that brought together some of the best Genshin Impact streamers with some of the funniest up-and-coming comedians for the Crown channel

Social Strategy

At Trade School, we live and breathe social strategy every day, ensuring that every piece of content we create is purpose-built for specific platforms and backed by audience data and insights. We understand that each channel’s nuances are critical to creating content that truly resonates and drives impact.

Our approach is designed to scale, enabling brands to engage audiences across diverse journeys and channels. Through audience journey mapping, we identify key points of intersection between the brand, its audiences, and channels, ensuring that content meets audiences where they’re most engaged. We integrate strategy, creative, and production from the outset, optimizing for every detail—sound, graphics, length, ratios, and more—so brands can maximize their assets across touchpoints.

Our capabilities extend beyond content creation. We conduct comprehensive content audits to sharpen our clients' strategic positioning in the dynamic social landscape. Our communications strategies identify ownable content pillars and define channel utilization, giving brands a distinct, consistent voice across platforms. We keep a pulse on real-time opportunities aligned with brand ethos, allowing us to seize timely cultural moments for increased relevance.

Finally, we prioritize measurement and feedback, establishing a feedback loop that tracks performance, informs optimization, and validates the impact of our strategies. This fusion of platform-first optimization, audience journey mapping, and real-time responsiveness allows us to create content that’s not only impactful but fully scalable to any media plan or platform mix.

We provide a comprehensive breakdown for each trend, thought starters for application based on our clients' unique business, and appropriate channels for activation. These creative thought starters are designed to be simple and considerate of the effort required, removing the strategic leg work needed to activate on trends, and shortening the distance between ideation and execution. Never Enough

Our recent work with Makita takes a fresh approach in a market overloaded with claims of power and performance. Instead of more horsepower, we focus on the passion and precision of Pros who love their craft and aim for flawless results. Makita’s tools become their go-to for comfort, quality, and the perfect fit, letting them build and create with pride. From seasoned Pros to Gen Z tradespeople, our campaign celebrates those who know that great work isn’t just powerful—it’s purposeful and built to last.

Built-in Pins

We wanted to give new homeowners the confidence to move beyond just inspirational pin boards and turn their “befores” into their very own “afters.” So we created Built-in Pins, a series of Pin-worthy rooms literally built from scratch inside a Pin. For the first time, people could see every step of their inspiration brought to life, and with the first shoppable 360 experience in Pinterest, people could shop the products directly within the platform. We created over 1,500 pieces of content with full-funnel media strategies to drive conversion…and also won a Cannes Lion.

Respect The Hustle

In order to help FedEx scale their approach to video content for their core small business audience, we developed a repeatable framework that would guide content creation - “Respect the Hustle.” This YouTube docuseries highlights small business owners that embody different aspects of “hustle” and that rely on FedEx to grow their business. The concept purposefully requires only a lean production crew, and can be scaled across an endless number of SMB stories.
