PLATFORM - FIRST CREATIVITY

Built-in Pins

We wanted to give first time homeowners the confidence to move beyond just inspiration pin boards and turn their “befores” into their very own “afters.” So we created Built-in Pins, a series of Pin-worthy rooms literally built from scratch inside a Pin. For the first time, people could see every step of their inspiration brought to life, and with the first shoppable 360 experience in Pinterest, people could shop the products directly within the platform. And we created over 1,500 pieces of content with full-funnel media strategies to drive conversion.

 
 

INFLUENCER MARKETING

How To Undo

Trade School has an Influencer Marketing team of nearly 20 people, who manage more than 300 influencer partnerships annually. We create custom and scalable programs—ranging from Influencer-led UGC campaigns to fully scripted, agency-produced episodic series.

One of our recent campaigns was to help The Home Depot reach a younger audience, so we created an episodic YouTube series that tapped into the insight that young homeowners are prone to more mistakes as they navigate home projects for the first time. We worked with influencer talent Mike Montgomery to create a show that would teach DIYers how to fix their most common mistakes with approachable, entertaining content. The co-created and produced over 20 episodes at Trade School Studios, and the show has over 1M views to date.


INFLUENCER MARKETING

Uncontained

In order to build awareness of the breadth of home improvement and decor products available at The Home Depot, we tapped into influencer talent, Ben Uyeda from Home Made Modern. Together, we built an entire home inside a shipping container, entirely out of products from The Home Depot. And then turned it into a shoppable, 360-degree interactive experience.

 

CREATING CONFIDENCE IN THE KITCHEN

Ninja Foodi

During the pandemic, more people than ever were eating at home. But most people lack the confidence, skill, or inspiration to create perfect meals, meals they’d be proud to serve their family and friends. So, we wanted to enable more people to cook with confidence at home by showing the range of mouth-watering meals that can be achieved with ease using Ninja Foodi’s line of versatile, fast, high-quality appliances.

We also pushed the brand to move beyond a broadcast only approach, executing a full funnel of content across TV, digital, social, as well as a massive asset library to be used for .com, retail partners, print, and Amazon.


 
 

BUILDING A BRAND

Sweetwater Brewing

We worked with this beloved Atlanta-based brewer to help establish their brand platform "Where there's water there's sweewater" and launch multiple new product lines that helped expand their distribution and reach as they grew into a national player in the craft beer market. Here’s one example video we created when we co-created their lager brand, “Guide Beer,” which gives a percentage of profits back to those in need.

 
 

AUDIENCE - LED CREATIVE AT SCALE

Remodelers

As a content partner of The Home Depot for 8 years, we’ve helped architect an audience-model that guides content development across a variety of multi-channel, full funnel campaigns. Content is concepted based on audience data and produced with volume and flexibility top of mind.

Our recent campaign “You’ve Never Been More Ready” showcases how The Home Depot can support and encourage all kinds of unique Remodelers, with personalized content tailored to each persona, channel, and phase of their remodeling journey.
